Abaniko

Back in the old days, the use of Abaniko or Pamaypay to beat the heat became a part of Filipino culture.

This particular item was even used as a symbol of demureness for the Noli Me Tangere heroine, Maria Clara.

Size varies in each abaniko with an average 12" x 13" dimension.
